Just a heads up about attempting to get employment at USPS. About a year ago, my girlfriend found a widely distributed solicitation for employment at the US Postal Service. I called the provided 800 number and spoke to a representative who informed me that if I would have to take a test and if I wanted to take that test, I would have to order the study book for $129.50. <(scam pt1)……

The following tips can help you protect yourselves from scammers:
- Never give personal bank account, PayPal or credit card numbers to an employer.
- Do not transfer money and retain a portion of the payment.
- Never forward, transfer or “wire” money to an employer.
- Don’t divulge private information such as a copy of your driver’s license, passport or Social Security number.
- Do not re-ship products.
- Don’t partake in cross-border action.
- Research the prospective company.
